“My name is Kathleen Coogan. I live in Madison, WI, and I enjoy working out of my welcoming studio space at ArtWorking. I am a visual artist who sees art in nature and in a lot of media. I have many friends at in Madison who support and encourage me. In the future, I am ready to open to the world. My dream is my art business. I find art is a tool to help me relax and tell a story about who I am.”
Kathleen Coogan creates art in a variety of mediums, often exploring one subject by way of mixed media studies. Coogan works in a sketchbook at a voracious pace, developing series upon series of images utilizing layers of bold linework and vibrant colors. Coogan is inspired by themes of nature, spirituality, and identity.
